VR Courtroom is an immersive, interactive platform that brings the complexities of legal practice into a virtual environment, allowing students to engage with real-life legal scenarios in a unique and engaging way. The VR Courtroom Team

The development of VR Courtroom was a collaborative effort led by Prof. Michele van Eck, with technical leadership from Prof. Abejide Ade-Ibijola. The project also involved a dedicated team of undergraduate students from the JBS Innovation Lab, University of Johannesburg, who contributed to the game’s design and programming. Additionally, a group of legal experts from UJ’s Faculty of Law provided invaluable insights into the content and scenarios, ensuring the game’s relevance and accuracy in legal education.
